Essential Care's philosophy is simple: All ingredients must have therapeutic value, as well as making the product a joy to use. They use herbs and essential oils in therapeutic concentrations for optimum benefit. For example, research has shown that aloe vera is only effective in concentrations of over 70%, so for maximum efficacy we use 100% where appropriate. Plant oils must be virgin and cold-pressed so that they have their full antioxidant vitamin-content intact, so as to actively nourish the skin and protect it from premature ageing.

Essential care will not compromise the quality and effectiveness of any of our unique products to cut costs. They continually source natural raw materials worldwide to offer their customers the best value for money, highest quality, organic, pure, and ethical products.

Essential Care do not use artificial fragrance; butylene glycol; colourings; cocamide DEA/MEA; cocomidopropyl betaine; dimethicone (or silicone); lanolin; methyldibromo glutaronitrile; mineral oil; parabens; paraffin products, petroleum oils; polyethylene glycol (PEG); sodium lauryl(eth) sulphate (or any other sulphate detergents); TEA; triclosan; urea; or other common synthetics.

Essential Care test on willing humans, not test on animals. In 2006 they received a prestigious RSPCA Award for our commitment to animal welfare.
