Zita West

Zita West has been involved with childbirth now for more than 20 years as a midwife, an acupuncturist, a nutritional advisor and as an author and consultant specialising in fertility and pregnancy.

She has treated Cate Blanchett, Kate Winslet and Davina McCall and moves between the NHS and her highly popular Harley St clinic helping women to conceive and have their babies as naturally as possible.

She has developed her own range of therapeutic oils and lotions to help you prepare your body for labour and to help you recover after the birth. The products are effective, safe, easy to use and free from genetically modified ingredients, yeast and known allergens.

All the essential oils used in this range have been formulated for their safety and efficacy, and have been formulated by health professionals who are experts in the field of aromatherapy.

Zita West Beautiful Belly Balm
A rich restorative moisturiser containing natural plant extracts, designed to help keep the skin of your stomach in good condition throughout pregnancy. Its luxurious blend of natural plant oils - including rose, sandalwood, borage and Vitamin E - has been combined with jojoba, chamomile and aloe vera, to help keep your skin as soft, supple and moisturised as possible whilst your baby grows, reducing the incidence of subcutaneous tears. The stimulation and exercise of the subcutaneous tissues (the tissues just beneath the skin) caused by the action of massaging is also of great value in itself.

No product will get rid of stretch marks, no matter what the manufacturers say - they are predominantly inherited - but using our Beautiful Belly Balm will help. Women who have used it say the oils in the balm help with the tightness and itching that sometimes occurs during pregnancy too.
